Review of Soy What?!

Game: Soy what?!
Publisher: Hannes Greschitz
Designer: ’’ ‘’
Players: 2-6
Time: 30 minutes

Soy what?! is a card game full of delicious food, vegan product, allergies and food puns. Each player needs to collect meals, but not more than three. Those meals need to fit your diet. That means that if your role is vegan, only the green and yellow point in the meal count. If you are a meat eater only the red and yellow points are counted. But that’s not the hard part, because everyone has at least one allergy. If a player has a meal with the product which they are allergic for in it, they are dead and have lost the game. The person with the most points wins! .

when I unpacked the game, the first thing I saw where the cards with the food puns. I LOVE THEM! they are so funny. The rules are very simple, so after five minutes of explaining everyone can join this game. The tactics aren’t that simple because of the 3-meal limit. The only thing I didn’t like that much are the food elimination cards that can remove one food card from a meal. Because on those cards is just one word like ‘monoculture’ it tens to be a bit complicated because of all the different opinions. It would be better if the elimination cards would say exactly which products they can remove. .
